Rocket Espresso R Cinquantotto R58
$3,206.00
The Rocket Espresso R Cinquantotto features dual boilers, each regulated by a PID temperature controller for consistent brewing. Its rotary pump is near-silent and lets you plumb the machine directly into a water line for even easier operation.
With Cinquantotto translating to 58 in Italian, this represents the independent 580ml espresso boiler used for espresso extraction in this top tier prosumer espresso machine. Dual independently operated PID controlled boilers, allowing for optimum extraction of any coffee type or roast style.

Rocket Espresso’s inclined boiler technology means precise group temperature and unprecedented levels of temperature stability.
- A dual boiler PID model offering the ability to increase or decrease the temperatures within each boiler
- Vibrant detachable touch screen display, to adjust temperatures within both the brew and service boiler
- The commercial grade rotary pump and motor provide the option of connecting to a mains water supply or running from the internal reservoir
- Utilising Rockets new Cronometro, their elegant and subtle shot timer to assist with calibration and espresso refinement when dialling in your paired grinder

Positioned to the side of the Cinquantotto, the control pod features a vibrant touch screen, on which the home barista can select and adjust temperatures within each boiler to explore a range of possible flavours and steam pressure.
The communication pod also features an automatic on/off timer function so that your machine is ready to go whenever you need and the pod can be removed from the mount and stored so you can highlight the timeless Rocket design.
For optimal performance, the Rocket R58 features a commercial grade, high quality, rotary pump. With an external pressure adjustment for enhanced pressure control.
The Cronometro is a subtle shot timer located above the power switch, R Cinquantotto now helps the home barista calibrate and refine their espresso producing skills.
A true collaboration of design, craftsmanship and encouraging the ability to explore espresso through temperature control, an array of features makes R Cinquantotto a top option for its category.

Commercial Rotary Pump
The R Cinquantotto is equipped with a commercial grade rotary pump with external pressure adjustment controls, allowing users to fine tune pump pressure while viewing the dedicated pressure gauge. Rocket reconfigured the internal architecture of the pump to increase efficiency and reduce noise creating the one of the quietest rotary pumps around.
Dual PID Temperature Controllers
Both the 0.58 L brew boiler and 1.8 L steam boiler have dedicated PIDs regulating their temperatures to the degree. Users can easily make temperature adjustments to each on the touchscreen display to accommodate various roasts, and, for added convenience, it can be removed from its place on the side of the machine.

Direct Water Line Connection
A dedicated control switch allows users to alternate between drawing water from the 2.5 liter reservoir or plumbing the R Cinquantotto directly into a water line. We recommend incorporating a BWT water filter into the plumb line to remove scale building minerals from the water, thus improving the coffee taste and longevity of your machine.

Touchscreen Communication Pod
The included touchscreen device can be easily plugged into the side of the machine where it rests at a fixed position, angled up for easy reading. Temperatures in the brew boiler and steam boiler are displayed individually and can be raised or lowered to your preference. Set on/off times for each day of the week, turn on ECO mode, or even turn off the steam boiler to save power.
Why You Should Buy It
The Rocket R Cinquantotto, an update on the ever popular R58, is a dual boiler espresso machine, with a dual PID system controlled by a removable touchscreen display. Each boiler uses a dedicated PID to regulate the temperatures within each, and allow you to make adjustments to accommodate different roast profiles. Updated cup railings, legs, side panels, and the inclusion of shot timer are much appreciated updates to Rocket's signature dual boiler machine.
At its heart, the R Cinquantotto features a 0.58 L brew boiler and 1.8 L steam boiler, which pump out shot after shot and fuel a powerful steam wand. Said steam wand is no-burn, along with its hot water counterpart.
It’s reliable, innovative and thoughtfully designed. The touchscreen display is a knockout addition, letting you control boiler temperatures with precision, turn off the steam boiler if you like, set on/off times for each day of the week, and a lot more.
