About this coffee;

This year for our seasonal Christmas Hullabaloo, we have created a blend of two coffees that work perfectly together to give you that comforting festive taste; a washed coffee from the La Concordia region in Mexico and a natural from the infamous Araku Valley in India.

The Indian component provides a thick, creamy body and some wonderful spice notes for which coffee from this part of the world is renowned. The Mexican element delivers a delicious chocolatey base and a mild acidity to balance the blend. As a milk-based drink, you really get to experience the gingerbread quality, and as an espresso, it is heavy-bodied with the fruit and spices shining through.

Mexico La Concordia

The La Concordia region is renowned for producing excellent coffee due to various factors such as the agroclimatic conditions of the area, altitude, soils, great diversity of natural interactions and, of course, the people who, through effort and care, are able to produce the “Oro Verde” (green gold as it is called).

India Araku Valley

The Araku Valley is famous around the world for only the best coffees in India, and they earn themselves recognized as the Gems of Araku. The coffee is chosen when the cherry is deep crimson red from a small group of farmers contributing to the mandal.

The coffee is dried on a mixture of raised beds and solar mechanical facilities, cherries are covered at night with a fine cloth to protect from any additional moisture.

Brew Recipe

Espresso: 1:2 coffee to water, extracted in 28 – 32 seconds
Filter: 60-65g coffee per litre of water, brewed for 3-4 mins

Rest Time

Filter 7 days | Espresso 14 days from roast date
This coffee may be rested prior to dispatch

Roast Days

We roast and despatch Monday to Friday. All orders placed after 10am on Friday will be roasted and despatched the following Monday.

Our new box is sourced from a FSC sustainable source and fully recyclable. Inner freshness bag is 100% recyclable and carbon neutral.
