About this coffee;

Rosa Gamez has been working in coffee since 2004 managing her 4 hectare farm with her husband Fredesvindo Martinez Gomez. They have 21,000 coffee plants spread cross their land with the main focus on producing excellent quality consistently. Rosa’s experience has led her to operate three yearly fertilisations as she feels that extra nutrition in the months leading up to harvest helps drive the growth of the fruiting and vegetative cycles of the plants.

We sourced this micro-lot through Keynote Coffee who are running a project to help fund the construction of communal drying stations for farmers in Honduras along with other equipment like moisture meters and thermohygrometers. This helps to improve the quality of the coffee coming from these areas which in turn will help provide a better price for the many coffee producers whose primary income is from their coffee production.

This coffee is an excellent example of the quality that small farms are able to produce with the right skills and experience. In the cup you will enjoy a beautiful sweetness with some juicy mango notes and a long-lasting aftertaste. A micro-lot is so-called for a reason; make sure you taste this incredible coffee before it goes.
