We are looking for a Wholesale Account Manager to work alongside our roastery team to support our existing coffee partners, while actively looking to develop strong and meaningful relationships, with independent cafés, restaurants, hotels, and delis throughout the Cotswolds. With particular emphasis being placed on areas such as Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and surrounding areas. 

We are on a mission to introduce genuine speciality coffee from some of the finest farms from around the globe, while providing assistance and support through the aid of the very latest espresso machine technology with the help of our partners, Victoria Arduino and Conti.

About you;

You have the experience and energy to build relationships with independent cafes, caterers, and retail customers. Identifying and proactively winning new business to drive sales and further expand our ever-increasing portfolio of quality minded partners.  

What you will be responsible for;

Identifying and proactively winning new business developing and implementing a sales plan to achieve revenue targets. Maintaining connections with existing and potential wholesale partners, managing the sales processes with the aid of our field-based training and development team, supporting partners in helping them stand out from their competition. 

What you’ll bring to the table;

• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales and exceeding personal sales goals
• Good understanding of B2B sales in either the catering or speciality coffee sector
• Experience as either a head barista or senior manager within the hospitality or coffee industry
• Your passionate about speciality coffee, the community and creativity
• An ability to clearly demonstrate that relationship building and management skills come naturally to you
• Ability to present to customers and negotiate with confidence
• Experience in using a CRM program preferred but not essential
• Confidence in maximising sales opportunities through a comprehensive understanding of products and services
• A good understanding of who the industry movers and shakers are within our marketplace
• Trustworthy, hardworking and have an ability to work and motivate yourself independently, while also working collaboratively
• Good communicator with an ability to proactively keep our team and managers in the loop
• Be a Ue Coffee Roasters brand ambassador at coffee community events and coffee festivals

Package:

• Up to £35,000 salary per annum paid monthly based upon relevant industry experience

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available to join our roastery team at our main roasting facility in Witney, West Oxfordshire.

As a Roastery Assistant you will work directly with a small team, primarily focusing on assisting the production department in weighing, bagging and packing of our coffees and teas ready for dispatch the hundreds of customers we work with across the UK.

This is a physically demanding role requiring a lot of hard work, repetition and an eye for attention and detail will be essential.

This role is best suited for someone who likes to work independently and takes great pride in the quality of his or her work.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Weigh out, bag and pack coffee and tea into the various packaging formats.
2. Assist our warehouse and internet dispatch in the picking of orders and dispatching these to our customers following set procedures and brand standards.
3. Help with the loading and unloading of deliveries arriving at the roastery on a daily basis.
4. Assist with the lifting of coffee sacks (circa 70kg) and booking in green bean stocks.
5. An element of driving work will be required within the local vicinity of the roastery.
6. Use of a forklift truck.
7. Maintain roastery equipment on a daily basis.
8. Sweep and clean roastery each day making sure that the working area is clean at all times.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Similar experience working in a production or warehouse setting.
2. Attention to detail at all times.
3. Passion for artisanal coffee and tea.
4. Quality-driven in every aspect of presentation when it relates to the products being sent to our customers.
5. Good problem-solving skills.
6. Good time management.
7. Excellent sense of vision, hearing & smell.
8. Physically fit: able to lift up to 30kg, drag up to 70kg & stand up to 8 hours.
9. Mechanically apt: able to use linear weighing, packing machines, pallet trucks and forklift truck.
10. Proficiency in English: reading, writing & speaking.
11. Good computer skills: email, Microsoft Excel, web-based applications, and Windows operating systems.
12. Good mathematical & analytical skills.
13. Excellent customer service skills.
14. Excellent planning & organisational skills.
15. Able to work independently, multitask & remain calm under pressure.
16. Willing to work occasional evenings & weekends when necessary.
17. A very can do attitude is a prerequisite
