This unique loose leaf tea is produced in the Puerh region of Yunnan Province, China. The puerh leaves are picked from old wild tea trees and are commonly left to mature for a number of years, increasing their complex flavour. This shou (cooked puerh) is crafted through an accelerated fermentation process, giving it a softened taste. A deeply aromatic tea famed for its apparent digestive benefits.

Full-bodied and earthy with subtle hints of liquorice and cooked wild mushroom.

Puerh (dark) tea. Naturally contains caffeine
